Ted Magnuson lives in the American Pacific Northwest and when not writing, reading or working his day job, he might likely be out riding his road bike. He is married, a father...and is working on his Samba steps. "I've been to Europe, South America and Asia," Ted says, "Australia? Perhaps next year."
His vision of World Peace includes bicycling around the world.
He earned an MBA from Florida Atlantic University, an MA in and Counseling Psychology from Lewis & Clark Graduate School.
He is a member of Rotary, the Authors Guild, the Oregon Writers Colony, The Mazamas, The Sierra Club and more bicycle clubs than most folks.

A Little More About...Ted Magnuson
Recalling Moments of Inspiration...
How does one become a writer?
It may be coincidence; but an uncanny string of events really started it all.
1) Recurring dream of Alien Abduction disturbs sleep. How does one make sense of it all? Write it down!
2) My workplace surplused their old IBM display-writer word processors (one step removed from clay tablets--yes it was that long ago). A highly editable form of transcribing ideas now available for the young artist.
3) New York Agents descend on Portland hungry for fresh talent" Interviewing candidates at local college." Was this the actual Newspaper headline from that period. Get off of it!
